What it is

The live build is staged as "Chromatic" — a fictional art gallery with a 16-work collection (invented artists, invented pieces) laid out in a hover-to-preview, click-to-expand grid. Cursor position and scroll depth drive the UI's colour palette, which shifts based on whichever piece is currently in view.

Why it exists

I wanted to test whether a portfolio-style grid could feel alive without relying on video or heavy imagery — just cursor position, scroll depth, and colour doing the work.

Note

The artists and artworks shown are invented placeholder content for the interaction demo, not real gallery data.
